There is an interactive exhibition within the castle, telling it's history and that of the Talbot family. In the gardens, you can find another interactive exhibition that tells you about the plants found in the landscaped gardens.
If you are visiting the area, you can also put your feet up on Malahide Beach, which is a popular destination for families.
