For those of you unfamiliar with Howth, it is an village on the Howth Peninsula, east of central Dublin.
We love to visit the grounds of the 15th-century Howth Castle, with it's rhododendron gardens and transport museum and it's local trams.
If you are visiting, why not try the 19th-century Martello Tower, which has a vintage radio museum. Also, the medieval ruins of St. Mary’s Abbey lie nearby. For the more outdoor minded, why not venture along the clifftop trail, with it's panoramic sea views.
